FlexTrades is seeking experienced Test Technicians to join our team. This role is ideal for skilled professionals with a background in testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance across mechanical and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test procedures in accordance with industry standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Assist with risk assessments and health/safety investigations to maintain compliance.
- Perform line witness tests and support noise testing evaluations.
- Engage in structured problem-solving using investigative methodologies to address customer and internal concerns.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality departments to resolve technical challenges.
Testing Focus Areas:
- Pressure Testing, Evacuation & Charging
- Refrigeration Performance Testing
- Electrical Component Testing
- Mechanical & Electrical Installations
- Waterflow & Pressure Drop Testing
- Refrigeration & HVAC System Qualification (Preferred but Not Required)
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Test Technician or in a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical testing procedures.
- Ability to work with testing designs (TD) at specified waterflows and pressure drops.
- Experience in quality investigations and root cause analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and commit to assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year.
- Must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime (50+ hours/week).
- Ability to pass a drug test.
