Job Summary:
FlexTrades is seeking skilled Metal Fitter Tackers for potential placements in Oregon, California, or Washington. Join our team to work on exciting projects and enjoy competitive pay, benefits, and the flexibility to take time off between assignments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Receive kits of materials (sheet metal and machined components) requiring surface preparation, joining/assembling, trimming, fitting, and tacking for welders to complete full seam welds.
- Fit and tack tube/ducting to flanges.
- Reference work orders, drawings, and instructions.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings is critical.
- Perform all tacking using TIG welding.
- Pass a Weld Tack Certification test.
- Complete an eye exam (corrective lenses allowed).
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $32/hour
- Overtime: Guaranteed each week, paid at time and a half
- Benefits: Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Expenses: Paid travel expenses to and from job sites (mileage reimbursed at $0.67/mile)
- Lodging: Paid single-occupancy hotel room
- Per Diem: $45/day
- Flexibility: Ability to take time off between assignments
