Position Overview
Swiss Machinists will set up and operate CNC Citizen Swiss machines while supporting precision production work involving Inconel, Hastelloy and high nickel alloys. Responsibilities
- Set up and run CNC Citizen Swiss machines
- Make offsets and adjustments
- Machine parts from Inconel, Hastelloy and high nickel alloys
- Inspect parts using mics, gauges and CMM when applicable
- Read and follow blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Complete quality checks using inspection sheets
- Load and unload parts manually
- Follow setup sheets, drawings, tool lists, BOMs and routers
- Work from electronic documentation as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Citizen Swiss CNC machines
- Strong understanding of G and M code
- Demonstrated experience with tight-tolerance machining
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T required
- Ability to perform complex setups independently
- Experience inspecting precision parts using handheld tools
- Familiarity with CMM operation preferred
- Comfortable working with electronic documentation, including setup sheets, drawings, tool lists, BOMs and routers
- Ability to read and interpret inch-based blueprints and ballooned drawings
