Position Summary
FlexTrades is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves working on machinery used to produce infrastructure products such as large utility lighting poles, telecom poles, and utility poles. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various types of machinery, often without detailed documentation.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Machinery Knowledge: Experience with uncoilers/winders, shears, formers, seam welders, and high-frequency induction welders.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to troubleshoot machinery without manuals, prints, or schematics.
- PLC Experience: Proficient with Allen Bradley SLC 50s, Beckhoff, and Siemens PLCs.
- Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Tool Room Skills: Experience with tool room machinery and welding is a plus.
- Heights: Comfortable working at various heights for maintenance tasks.
- Voltage: Experience with 480 3-phase systems.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay: $42/hour
- Overtime: Guaranteed overtime each week, paid at time and a half.

Position Summary
FlexTrades is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer II to join our team. This role involves programming and operating the Okuma B300 Multus Multitasking lathe, which features a dual spindle and single turret capable of holding 120 tools, with live tooling. This machine operates on six axes, providing a challenging and rewarding opportunity for experienced CNC programmers. This is a nationwide posting with potential placement in Wisconsin, Colorado, or Minnesota.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Machine Programming: Experience with Okuma B300 Multus Multitasking lathe – dual spindle, single turret.
- Tooling and Axes: Knowledge of live tooling and six-axis operation between turret, spindle, and live tooling.
- Controller: Proficient in using the OSP-P500 controller.
- Software: Perform offline programming in Esprit software (latest version) and prove out parts at the machine.
- 3D Models: Work from program models (3D) developed in CREO Parametric. All models are internally engineered.
- Part Variety: Ability to program a wide variety of parts, varying in type, size, and material, including heat-treated parts.
- GD&T Understanding: Must understand GD&T callouts including runout, position, perpendicularity, and finish.
- Tolerances: Capable of working with tolerances down to .0001”, typically at .0005” or higher.
- Setup Sheets: Willingness to create setup sheets when none are present, following a provided template.

Job Summary:
FlexTrades is seeking experienced CNC Fab Programmers for potential placements in Wisconsin, North Dakota, or Minnesota. Join our team to work on diverse and challenging projects while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the flexibility to take time off between assignments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Program lasers, oxy-fuel cutters, plasma punches, and brake presses using optimization software.
- Work with Mazak and Trumpf Lasers (Fiber and CO2), Messer and Whitney Plasma Cutters, CNC Hydraulic Brake Presses, and Oxy Fuel Cutters.
- Edit and modify current programs, no new part programming required.
- Prove out programs at machines with full-time employees participating in setup and first-piece inspection.
- Create setup sheets using existing templates.
- Work with mild sheet steel and some structural steel, ranging from 10g to 3” thick.
- Nest parts across machines to maximize efficiency.
