Jig Bore Operator
FlexTrades is hiring Jig Bore Operators for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision rework and machining operations. This role is built for machinists who understand manual jig boring, can work independently from prints, and take ownership of restoring parts to exact specifications.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual jig bore machines for precision rework applications
- Work on a variety of parts, each requiring a unique setup and approach
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to identify features requiring correction
- Secure and position parts accurately prior to machining
- Make precise adjustments to restore parts to required dimensions
- Use measurement tools to verify accuracy before final inspection
- Work in a rework environment where parts require correction rather than standard production
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Qualifications
- Experience operating manual jig bore machines required
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to hold tight tolerances
- Comfortable working with precise measurement requirements
- Ability to set up parts independently without detailed setup sheets
- Experience using basic measurement tools
- Ability to adapt to non-repetitive work and unique setups
