Swiss Machinist
FlexTrades is hiring Swiss Machinists for project-based assignments supporting precision manufacturing operations. This role is built for experienced machinists who can independently set up and run Citizen Swiss CNC machines, work from detailed documentation and hold tight tolerances on complex parts.

Position Overview
Swiss Machinists will set up and operate CNC Citizen Swiss machines while supporting precision production work involving Inconel, Hastelloy and high nickel alloys. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, knowledge of G and M code, tight-tolerance machining experience and the ability to perform complex setups independently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run CNC Citizen Swiss machines
- Make offsets and adjustments
- Machine parts from Inconel, Hastelloy and high nickel alloys
- Inspect parts using mics, gauges and CMM when applicable
- Read and follow blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Complete quality checks using inspection sheets
- Load and unload parts manually
- Follow setup sheets, drawings, tool lists, BOMs and routers
- Work from electronic documentation as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Citizen Swiss CNC machines
- Strong understanding of G and M code
- Demonstrated experience with tight-tolerance machining
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T required
- Ability to perform complex setups independently
- Experience inspecting precision parts using handheld tools
- Familiarity with CMM operation preferred
- Comfortable working with electronic documentation, including setup sheets, drawings, tool lists, BOMs and routers
- Ability to read and interpret inch-based blueprints and ballooned drawings
