Deburrer Technician
FlexTrades is hiring experienced Deburrer Technicians for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision manufacturing and component finishing operations.
This role is designed for technicians with hands-on deburring experience, strong blueprint-reading skills and the ability to perform detailed finishing and inspection work on small precision components.
Position Overview
The Deburrer Technician will remove burrs and finish precision-machined components using grinders, files and hand deburring tools.
This position also involves bead blasting, sandblasting, microscope work, blueprint interpretation, quality inspection and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Deburr precision-machined components using grinders, files and hand deburring tools
- Remove burrs from internal and external component features
- Perform detailed deburring on intersecting holes
- Deburr cross-drilled holes
- Operate bead blasting equipment
- Operate sandblasting equipment
- Perform inspection and deburring work under a microscope
- Read and follow work instructions
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Verify dimensions and component features
- Confirm workmanship requirements
- Inspect completed work for quality and conformance
- Complete required quality documentation
- Complete inspection check sheets
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications
- Previous deburring experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using grinders
- Experience using files and hand deburring tools
- Ability to work under a microscope throughout the shift
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of quality standards
- Ability to inspect completed work
- Ability to accurately document completed work
- Ability to perform intricate hand-finishing work
- Ability to pass a vision examination
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with small precision components
- Experience operating bead blasting equipment
- Experience operating sandblasting equipment
