CMM Programmer

FlexTrades is hiring CMM Programmers for project-based manufacturing assignments across the United States. This role is built for quality and metrology professionals who can program CMMs, interpret complex blueprints and apply GD&T standards to inspect precision parts and assemblies.

Position Overview
The CMM Programmer will support dimensional inspection and quality verification for complex components and assemblies. This role requires strong CMM programming ability, blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge and the ability to produce accurate inspection results in a manufacturing environment where precision matters.
Responsibilities
- Program CMMs using PC-DMIS, Calypso or both
- Perform dimensional inspections on complex parts and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Apply GD&T standards during inspection and measurement activities
- Support first article, in-process and final inspection requirements as needed
- Verify part conformance to customer and engineering specifications
- Document inspection results clearly and accurately
- Use Faro Arm or PowerInspect equipment when required
- Support inspection work involving composite materials when required
- Work independently while maintaining quality, accuracy and production expectations
Qualifications
- Experience programming CMMs with PC-DMIS, Calypso or both
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Strong GD&T knowledge
- Experience with complex parts and assemblies
- Faro Arm and PowerInspect experience is a plus
- Composite materials experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
