Quality Inspector
FlexTrades is hiring Quality Inspectors for project-based assignments supporting precision manufacturing operations. This role is built for inspectors who know how to read technical drawings, follow inspection procedures, document results clearly, and help ensure precision components meet required specifications.
If you have experience with receiving inspections, in-process inspections, final inspections, and First Article Inspections, this opportunity is a strong fit.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, in-process, final inspections, and First Article Inspections on precision components
- Inspect parts using standard measurement tools and visual inspection techniques
- Review supplier documentation and certifications to ensure compliance with specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, inspection reports, and GD&T requirements
- Document inspection results and identify nonconforming parts
Qualifications
- Experience in precision inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T
- Familiarity with inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related equipment
- Experience with FAIs
- AS9102 experience preferred
