Injection Mold Technician

FlexTrades is hiring Injection Mold Technicians for project-based assignments supporting fast-paced manufacturing operations. This role is built for technicians who can follow detailed process documentation, monitor machine performance, and maintain quality while working with molds, presses, and digital production systems.

If you have experience as a Process Technician, Injection Mold Technician, or similar manufacturing role, this opportunity aligns with your skill set.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor casting presses ranging from 75T to 150T while managing one machine at a time
• Work with molds ranging from 6 inches x 6 inches to 36 inches x 36 inches
• Follow process sheets, setup cards, and detailed work instructions
• Adjust and monitor machine parameters using HMI systems
• Access and interpret digital work instructions using tablets
• Perform visual inspections and monitor part quality
• Identify and report machine or quality issues
• Assist with mold handling using cranes and forklifts, with training provided

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Process Technician or Injection Mold Technician strongly preferred
• Experience with injection molding or similar manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and process specifications
• Comfortable working with HMI controls and digital systems or tablets
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Willingness to accept feedback and continuously improve performance
• Experience operating rigging equipment, cranes, or forklifts is a plus
