Painter
FlexTrades is hiring Industrial Painters for project-based assignments supporting manufacturing operations. This role is built for painters who can prep parts, mix coatings, follow paint specifications, maintain spray equipment, and apply consistent finishes inside a controlled paint booth environment.

Responsibilities
- Paint heat exchangers after testing
- Apply coatings in a paint booth
- Mix paint and materials to required ratios
- Read and follow paint specifications
- Prep parts for painting, including masking and capping
- Clean and maintain spray guns and equipment
- Move units using powered pallet jacks while units remain on carts
- Check coating thickness with a digital gauge, MIL level 3
- Support curing process, including heated or air dry
- Assist with new automated paint booth
Qualifications
- Industrial painting experience preferred
- Ability to read paint specs and mix materials accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience maintaining spray equipment
- Comfortable using pallet jacks
- Able to bend, kneel, and move throughout shift
Work Environment & Equipment
- Work inside paint booths
- Use supplied air respirator, medical questionnaire required
- Facial hair allowed
- Exposure to industrial coatings in a controlled environment
