Press Operator
FlexTrades is hiring experienced Press Operators for nationwide project-based manufacturing assignments supporting high-volume metal stamping operations. This opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals who have experience setting up and operating mechanical stamping presses, performing die changeovers, and producing quality parts in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate mechanical stamping presses ranging from 50 to 450 tons
- Perform die changeovers, machine adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Load and unload steel coils while operating coil-fed manufacturing equipment
- Conduct quality inspections using standard measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions
- Complete production documentation accurately throughout each shift
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine performance, lubrication systems, and oil levels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Support production goals while meeting quality and operational standards
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience setting up and operating mechanical stamping presses
- Experience with progressive dies and/or deep draw stamping processes
- Experience operating coil-fed manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation
- Proficiency using standard measuring tools for quality inspections
- Ability to convert between metric and imperial measurements
- Experience documenting production data and inspection results
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
