Thread Roller (Setup Level)
FlexTrades is hiring Thread Rollers for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision fastener and metal forming operations. This role is built for operators who understand how critical proper thread rolling is to product quality, consistency, and production flow.
If you have experience operating thread rolling machines and are comfortable monitoring machine performance, handling tooling changes, and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this opportunity aligns with your skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Waterbury and Saspi thread rolling machines to produce precision threaded components
- Monitor machine performance during production runs and make minor adjustments as needed
- Change out tooling when required to support production requirements
- Inspect parts visually and maintain consistent thread quality during operation
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the work area
- Support production teams by ensuring machines remain running efficiently and safely
Requirements
- Direct experience operating thread rolling machines
- Setup experience is not required but mechanical aptitude is expected
- Ability to work in a physical, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow work instructions and maintain production quality standards
