Quality Inspector
FlexTrades is hiring Quality Inspectors for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision manufacturing and supplier quality operations. This role is built for detail-oriented professionals who understand how critical inspection is to product integrity and customer trust. Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming parts from suppliers and parts produced within the facility
- Review inspection documents, drawings, and purchase orders during checks
- Use measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and Keyence equipment
- Enter job details into the computer system including lot numbers, start and stop times, and inspection notes
- Perform visual inspections to verify correct surface finish
- Escalate any issues found to full time employees for review
- After completing training, help support and mentor newer full time inspectors
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or inspection environment
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings
- Basic computer skills for entering and tracking job information
- Ability to work accurately with small and detailed parts
Preferred
- Experience using Keyence measurement equipment
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 is a plus but not required
- Experience working with small metal fasteners or similar products
