CMM Programmer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced CMM Programmer to support inspection operations for complex aerospace components. This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CMM programming and operation onsite, with a strong preference for candidates proficient in MCosmos software and Mitutoyo Apex CMMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate Mitutoyo Apex 574 and Apex 7106 CMMs using MCosmos software
- Develop inspection programs for new parts and modify existing programs to improve inspection coverage and efficiency
- Perform hands-on inspection and program prove-out as needed
- Interpret complex imperial and metric prints, including GD&T features such as datums, profiles, runout, and true position
- Conduct inspection for FAIRs/FAIs using multi-page drawings and SolidWorks models when available
Qualifications
- Candidates with diverse CMM programming experience may be considered if they demonstrate adaptability
- Proficiency in Mitutoyo CMMs and familiarity with Hycomp aerospace components
- Solid understanding of AS9102 and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Expertise in GD&T and interpreting complex technical drawings
- Strong experience with MCosmos software is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
