CMM Operator
FlexTrades is hiring CMM Operators for nationwide project-based assignments supporting aerospace and precision manufacturing operations. This role is built for inspectors who understand coordinate measuring systems, blueprint interpretation, and the discipline required to verify parts with tight tolerances and high feature counts.

Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CMM equipment and review inspection programs using Calypso
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections on prototype components
- Use hand inspection tools to verify features that cannot be measured on CMM equipment
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and inspection guidelines
- Record inspection results using computer systems and written documentation
- Inspect parts with high feature counts and tight accuracy requirements
- Work with production teams to help resolve issues when parts do not meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Experience operating CMM equipment and reviewing inspection programs using Calypso
- Background in aerospace inspection with understanding of AS9100 quality standards
- Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret GD&T
- Experience performing first-article inspections (FAIR) on complex components
- Comfortable inspecting parts with tight tolerances and numerous features
- High attention to detail and ability to manage detailed documentation
- Ability to complete required training, pass a vision test, and certify for part approval
