FlexTrades is hiring Brazers for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision tubing, fabrication, and thermal joining operations. This role is built for hands-on tradespeople who understand torch work, cleanliness, and the importance of tight, reliable joints. If you have experience brazing stainless steel and copper tubing and take pride in producing clean, consistent work, this role fits your skill set.
Responsibilities
- Join stainless steel and copper tubing using a torch
- Prepare tubing by cleaning and hand-bending as needed
- Ensure tight, clean joints and high-quality finished work
- Clean completed joints and perform basic leak checks
- Follow paper drawings and written instructions
- Use basic shop tools and material-handling equipment
- Work in varied physical positions and adapt to changing processes
Qualifications
- Direct brazing experience required
- Hands-on experience working with stainless steel and copper tubing
- Comfortable joining different types of metals
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to read and follow paper drawings
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and ask questions
- Physically able to perform hands-on shop work
- Must pass a hands-on torch skills assessment
