Assembler
FlexTrades is hiring Assemblers for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision manufacturing and electro-mechanical production environments. This role is designed for individuals who are comfortable working with detailed assemblies, small components, and multi-step build processes where quality and consistency matter.
If you have hands-on assembly experience, understand how to follow prints and BOMs, and take pride in building components the right way the first time, this opportunity aligns with your skill set.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly using established procedures and work instructions
- Read and follow bills of materials, blueprints, and written assembly documentation
- Assemble small components, fasteners, and multi-step subassemblies at a workstation
- Use standard hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and Allen wrenches to complete assemblies
- Ensure all assemblies meet required quality standards before moving to the next stage of production
- Maintain organized workstations and follow company-specific assembly processes
- Safely move materials using pallet jacks or rolling carts as required
Requirements
- Mechanical assembly or hands-on production experience
- Ability to read and follow BOMs, prints, and written procedures
- Comfortable working with small parts, fasteners, and detailed assemblies
- Proficient using basic hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, and Allen wrenches
- Able to sit or stand at a workbench as required throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing electro-mechanical assembly
- Soldering experience, including wires to PCBA or small PCB components
- Familiarity with supporting complex subassemblies
- Ability to adapt to company-specific build and production processes
