Deburrer Technician
FlexTrades is hiring Deburrer Technicians for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision manufacturing operations. In precision manufacturing environments, deburring is not cosmetic. It is critical to fit, function, and performance. This position requires patience, discipline, and the ability to work with tight tolerances where quality always outweighs speed.
Responsibilities
- Deburr machined components using hand tools, grinders, and blasting equipment
- Perform complex internal deburring on parts with cross holes and intersecting features, often working by feel
- Work under a microscope for the majority of the shift to achieve required precision
- Follow detailed work instructions and interpret blueprints to meet tolerances and specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Document inspection results accurately on required check sheets
- Maintain focus and consistency, understanding that daily part volume varies based on complexity
Qualifications
- Must pass a vision exam approved by the Client Quality Manager prior to onboarding
- Experience with deburring, finishing, or other precision handwork preferred
- Strong fine motor skills and comfort performing detailed, repetitive tasks
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
