CNC Machinist
FlexTrades is hiring CNC Machinists for nationwide project-based assignments supporting custom machining and precision manufacturing work. If you know how to run CNC equipment with confidence, manage multiple setups in a shift, and keep accuracy tight across varied materials, this role fits your skill set. You will produce custom parts, follow detailed instructions, and support projects that demand craftsmanship and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce custom parts
- Follow blueprints and setup instructions carefully
- Perform multiple setups each day and make adjustments as needed
- Check parts for accuracy and quality
- Work with lightweight composite and other materials
- Keep machines in good condition and maintain a clean workspace
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machines
- Ability to work with accurate measurements and detailed parts
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Familiar with basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Comfortable working with different materials including thin parts
- Can work independently and solve problems during setups
- Physically able to handle parts and maintain equipment
- Strong attention to detail to prevent errors
