Maintenance Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician with FlexTrades, you will:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair production machinery, with a primary focus on CNC machines
- Work on lathes, mills, grinders, hones, EDMs, and other equipment including drill presses, saws, heat treat ovens, test stands, sandblasters, and more
- Troubleshoot and repair machines with CNC controls and PLC systems
- Service CNC machine brands including Doosan, Wasino, Hardinge, Mazak, Okuma, and Mori Seiki
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repairs up to 480V 3-phase
- Conduct component overhauls and part replacements as needed
- Work with a wide range of CNC and PLC controllers, including Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Automation Direct
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, jibs/hoists, and 3-ton overhead cranes with remote/pendant controls
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a safety-first mindset at all times
Position Requirements
- Must have hands-on experience repairing and maintaining CNC equipment
- Must be able to work within CNC and PLC controls to troubleshoot issues
- Must be comfortable working on a variety of CNC brands and platforms
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Familiar with a wide range of control systems and troubleshooting methods
- Willingness to travel for assignments lasting from 3 months to 1 year
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and commit to 50+ hours per week including overtime
- Must meet pre-employment drug test requirements
- Must be highly safety-conscious
Pay and Benefits
- Pay: $44/hour
- Guaranteed overtime paid at time and a half
- Paid travel to and from job sites
- Paid lodging in single-occupancy hotel rooms
- Daily per diem of $45
