NDT Technician (Radiographic Testing)
FlexTrades is hiring experienced NDT Technicians with ASNT Level II Radiographic Testing certification for nationwide, travel-based assignments. This is a hands-on opportunity to perform X-ray inspections on stainless steel weldments for high-performance manufacturing projects across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform RT inspections using X-ray tubes with results exposed on film only
- Conduct multiple shots on four key weld areas: two circumferential and two longitudinal seams
- Inspect 8” solid reinforced stainless steel plates using sub arc welding techniques
- Work with stainless steel grades 304 and 316
- Document inspections using a traveler that includes all standard procedures
- Identify and report any cracks or defects
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Level III inspector
Qualifications
- ASNT TC-1A Level II certification in Radiographic Testing
- Minimum 80 hours of classroom training in RT
- Minimum 840 hours of on-the-job training (OJT) in RT
- Minimum 1,600 total hours of NDT experience across techniques
- Must provide proof of hours via certificate or log
