CNC Swiss Machinist
FlexTrades is hiring CNC Swiss Machinists for nationwide project-based assignments supporting precision machining and tight-tolerance manufacturing operations. This role is designed for machinists who understand Swiss-style equipment, can manage multiple machines, and take ownership of setups, inspections, and production quality throughout a shift.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style machines using provided instructions and tooling
- Adjust tooling, make simple program edits, and verify proper machine operation
- Run a variety of low-volume parts with short cycle times
- Inspect machined parts using standard measuring tools and follow documented inspection steps
- Perform hand deburring using small handheld tools
- Maintain accurate production and quality records throughout the shift
- Work independently as the primary machinist on the assigned shift
- Manage multiple machines located within the same work area
Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss-style machines in a production environment
- Ability to read production prints including basic geometric features
- Skilled in making offsets and machine adjustments to maintain part quality
- Comfortable inspecting tight-tolerance parts using common measurement tools
- Experience machining plastic or metal materials, with willingness to learn material differences
- Strong attention to detail during setups, inspections, and deburring
- Ability to manage multiple machines efficiently within the same work area
