Maintenance Mechanic
FlexTrades is hiring experienced Maintenance Mechanics for nationwide roles supporting high-speed food and beverage production environments.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in high-speed food or beverage production environments, particularly those familiar with separators and smart valve systems.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on maintaining and optimizing equipment that supports the production of cheese and whey protein products. If you’re mechanically inclined, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a strong sense of urgency, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Dairy industry experience (fluid milk, powder, ice cream, etc.)
- Experience with pneumatics (hydraulics a plus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and process flows
- Familiarity with 480V 3-phase systems, VFD fault codes, and MCC troubleshooting
- Experience with robotic palletizing systems
- CMMS experience (SAP preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including motors and VFDs
- Rebuild and maintain separators, valves, pumps, and conveyors
- Support packaging operations involving cheese towers and conveyor systems
- Prioritize tasks based on production needs and equipment condition
