Assembler
FlexTrades is hiring Assemblers for long-term, high-paying travel roles with leading manufacturing companies across the United States. Immediate openings are available in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. If you’re certified in J-STD-001 and enjoy detailed, hands-on work, this is your chance to support precision stator production in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble stators using a multi-step process including:
- Winding: Operate winding machines and manually shape ultra-fine copper wire to specification
- Robot Bench: Assist with robotic wire stripping and preparation
- Gluing & Prepping: Manually glue wires to connectors and perform light assembly
- Cleanup/De-Tooling/Final Assembly: Remove tooling, clean components (may use Dremel), and perform final assembly tasks
