
Staff Accountant
FlexTrades, a growing, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial company, is the nation’s leading provider of production solutions. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including but not limited to preparing and examining financial records, reconciling accounts, regulatory compliance, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. A person who is internally driven to achieve and interested in a wide range of experience will continue to be challenged and be successful in this role.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and record accounting transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to support business analysis in real time Generate weekly and monthly financial reports to support business analysis Assist with month-end close including preparation of account analysis and reconciliations
- Review and record corporate credit card transactions
- Assist with ensuring tax and regulatory compliance i.e. preparing business registrations, filing annual reports, researching notices from taxing entities, etc.
- Cross train to perform as a backup for payroll, accounts payable, and cash receipts
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance department
- Assist with the implementation of additional software and/or accounting modules as needed, including design, testing and documentation of new processes

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years progressively responsible financial operations experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP requirements and financial principles.
- Intermediate computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
- Bullhorn and Sage Intacct experience preferred.
