
Tool & Die Technicians
FlexTrades is hiring Tool & Die Technicians (Traveling) across the United States.
Position Overview:

As a Tool & Die Technician, you will work for clients who manufacture a variety of goods, products, components and assemblies for the food & beverage, personal hygiene, packaging, medical, aviation, and automotive industries, among others.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Must have progressive die experience.
- Will be working with coil fed progressive stamping presses (110t, 200t, 3005, and 400t)
- Materials: high strength, low alloy steel. Thickness ~1.6mm – 3.22mm.
- Tolerances of .0001.
- Ability to take press calls and troubleshooting parts to determine die conflicts.
- Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills: will leave orders on repairs needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1-3 years of experience and/or technical school diploma, preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay: Up to $45/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Paid travel expenses to and from job sites (Mileage Reimbursed at $0.625/mile)
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
- Flexibility to take time off between assignments
- Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to perform tasks with little to no supervision
- Ability to travel and commit to assignments for at least 90 days
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50+ hours/week)
- Must meet drug test requirements
