Saw Operators
FlexTrades is hiring Saw Operators (Traveling) across the United States.

Saw Operator– are you looking for a contract position that will offer exceptional pay, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with some of the nation’s most prominent manufacturing organizations? Look no further!
As a Saw Operator with FlexTrades, you will work for clients who manufacture both sub-assemblies and final assemblies for a variety of industries including: automotive, aerospace, oil & gas, and general manufacturing. Our clients manufacture both large and small assemblies as well as systems and equipment.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Set-up, adjust and operate saws along with other related machines to cut bar stock to print specifications
- Use a pry bar to separate steel bar stock for removal from steel wagons to saw feed table
- Set-up, adjust and operate a beveler as required
- Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report unsafe conditions and do not perform unsafe acts
- Experience with refractometer, hand grinders, belt sanders, verniers, tape measure, hoist, lift magnet, wrenches, hammer, sledge hammer, pry bar, square, leather gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes, and safety glasses
Qualifications:
- The ability to travel and commit to assignments ranging from 3-6 months
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50 hours per week)
- There are no specific certifications or minimum education requirements for this role

- Pay: Up to $28/hour
- Guaranteed overtime each week paid at time and a half
