
Director of Sales (Remote Work)
FlexTrades is hiring a Director of Sales for a unique, remote-work opportunity.
Position Overview:
FlexTrades is a rapidly growing national provider of manufacturing labor solutions and we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to lead our Business Development Team in generating new business across the U.S.
As the Director of Sales, Business Development, you’ll be responsible for leading the Business Development Representative (BDR) team’s efforts, helping them to generate interest in FlexTrades’ production solutions and cultivate the new business pipeline. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will partner closely with Client Solutions, Lead Generation and Marketing to achieve department goals. You’ll also develop strong players to prepare them for the next step in their sales career, enabling them to hit professional goals and grow their skills to advance their careers at FlexTrades.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the team of Business Development Representatives to drive appointments and grow the new business opportunity pipeline
- Demonstrate passion for hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining high-valued team members in anticipation of career and company growth
- Provide situational coaching and guide BDRs through talk tracks and value propositions
- Set team and individual sales goals while understanding the challenges the team faces and clearing the way to allow for achieving and/or exceeding their goals
- Practice a data-driven approach to measuring and achieving success
- Instill and maintain a quality and customer-centric sales process
- Ensure strong internal partnerships, practices, and connectivity
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Recruiting teams to develop best-practices for successful outcomes and communication strategies
- Explore and develop new & creative ways to prospect future clients
- Other duties as requested and assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Sales Management experience with a focus on training, coaching, motivation, and career development
- Business to business sales experience required. Consultative or solutions-based sales experience preferred
- Staffing and/or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience connecting with and selling to prospects and clients by phone and email
- Proven goal achievement, self-drive and communication skills
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- CRM experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (will consider sale management experience in lieu of degree)
- Limited travel required (up to 20%).
