CNC Lathe Operator
FlexTrades is hiring CNC Lathe Operators for nationwide assignments that support high accuracy machining across some of the most demanding industries in the country. If you know how to run a lathe with confidence, hold tight tolerances, and keep production moving without cutting corners, you will fit right in.
This role centers on producing precision components using CNC lathes, performing setups, and maintaining the level of detail expected in aerospace, medical, and other high performance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Perform setups and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect parts and document results to ensure compliance with strict tolerances
- Maintain efficiency and meet production goals in a high volume environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating two axis CNC lathes is required
- Experience with Mazatrol controllers is required
- Experience with live tooling is a plus
- Background in high precision industries such as medical or aerospace
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, high mix production environment
